Las compañías mineras australianas están prolongando un exceso de oferta que hizo caer los precios del carbón al nivel más bajo en cuatro años debido a contratos de transporte que hacen que sea más barato exportar a pérdida que reducir la producción.

The Lekki deep seaport will not only handle bigger ships calling in the Nigerian ports but also create employment opportunities for Nigerians, the Minister of Transport, Senator Idris Umar has said.
The Federal Government had during the sitting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) late last year approved the construction of the multibillion naira deep seaport situated in Lagos.
The deep seaport is expected to ease the present bottlenecks associated the existing ports, particularly the ones in Lagos which has been experiencing congestion in recent times.

As Mozambique inches closer to its ambition of becoming a leader in the global liquefied natural gas (LNG)industry, the East African country looks set to upending Nigeria’s share of the high-demand Asian markets as it makes inroads into the region.
Last week, Anadarko Petroleum, the primary operator of Mozambique’s Rovuma Offshore Area 1,which is estimated to hold more than 65 trillion cubic feet (Tcf) of natural gas, said it had sold twothirds of the capacity of its planned Mozambique LNG project to Asian customers and hopes to have the rest sold soon.
